SihostelOur family recently spent two enjoyable nights at Sihostel, and I’m keen to share our experience. As a family who loves the outdoors, we appreciated the extensive garden space complete with hammocks, perfect for relaxing in between our adventures. Our children particularly enjoyed the large swimming pool, which was a highlight after a day of exploring. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. For instance, after checking out, they generously allowed us to continue enjoying the pool while we waited for our late bus. This thoughtful gesture made our departure much smoother. One of the features that caught our attention was the regular live shows, providing entertainment for families during the evenings. While the breakfast was satisfactory, we encountered a few pesky fruit flies, and the kitchen could benefit from better ventilation due to the humid weather. Despite some minor issues, such as occasional cold showers and a basic kitchen setup, Sihostel proved to be a commendable choice for families looking for a comfortable and engaging stay in San Ignacio.
